It’s Graduation Time!

As my kids get older, we know more and more kids who are graduating.  So I felt I needed to make a few graduation cards using Smithson Valley High School colors of navy and silver. Since we know a few boys that are graduating, there are the cards I have made so far.

The each have the same grad cap embellishment. I hope these boys are ok with the glitter paper!

End of the year thank you cards

It’s the end of my daughter’s sophomore year, so she asked me to make thank you cards to give to her track coaches.  That was a tough request as I always struggle with masculine cards.  She has two male coaches and two female coaches.  So here are the two cards I made for the male ones.

I thought the hexagon embossing folder really helped give these a more masculine feel.  But I wanted to add silver somehow since it is part of their school colors.  I hope the glitter paper isn’t too much for the coach.

Here are the two more frilly versions for her female coaches.

These both used the Eastern Palace bundle thinlits which I ADORE! I sure do hope her coaches like these cards.  I know my daughter will write something terrific in them because she is awesome like that  🙂 .

I told you I loved this bundle!

So here is another project using the Eastern Palace bundle.  It’s an adorable treat bag with a window created with the dies.  The dies are available only in the premiere bundle, so you really should get that bundle, although either bundle is great 🙂

Did you notice the little stamped images in the medallion? I wasn’t sure how to use those, but they are perfect little accents! I hope you have ordered or will be ordering one of these bundles this month.  Again, you will be able to order the items individually in June, but why not get the FREE items in May!?! I’m always game for FREE items, aren’t you?

Have you ordered the Eastern Palace bundle yet!?!

I truly believe this suite is a “MUST HAVE” for any paper crafter! Here are two more thank you cards using it.  And you will see many more, I’m sure, since I just love it so much. This first card was CASEd from the very talented Dena Rekow at The Creativity Cave.  She is just amazing.

And I think this new In Color, Lemon Lime Twist, will be my favorite new color, although I need to have more time to play with all of them before making that declaration.  I do love this DSP, though 🙂 . What do YOU think?

Are you ready to order one of the bundles!?!

Today is the day you can begin to order one of the Eastern Palace bundles. Here is a quick and easy thank you card using the Very Vanilla notecards you get for FREE with the starter bundle shown in my previous post.

Dapper Denim is one of the colors featured in the DSP so I used that color for the stamped images.  I really like the font for the sentiment, don’t you? And I really like how this particular die cut allows the petals of the flower “lift”. This is just one of the unique qualities of this die set.  I really believe this suite has several “must have” products from the new catalog.  I hope you take advantage of these bundle specials this month!
