Quick and easy Christmas cards

Are you hoping to make your Christmas cards quickly? Then let our beautiful DSP do the heavy lifting for you! Layer a piece of patterned paper with a piece of coordinating card stock, add a nice sentiment on a pretty punched piece or die cut shape and maybe some bling and you are done!  I added some gold thread as bling on this card. You could easily make a stack of these cards in a few hours! So get ready to order from the new 2018 Holiday catalog starting Wednesday 🙂

2019 Calendars in the making

I participate in a few fall craft fairs every year. I never know what kind of items will sell. Sometimes I don’t sell a single card, other years I sell out of them. But several people last year asked me to sell calendars this year.  So I have started making them.  I make easel calendars with tear away calendars purchased from Taylored Expressions. So here are a few examples I have made recently.

I hope people like these! I have made a few duplicates of these designs and plan to make more this month. To make the easel, I simply put a stand on a standard A2 size card.  The stand is a 4″ x 4″ piece of card stock scored at 1/2″, 2″ and 3-1/2″. I accordion fold this piece and adhere the 1/2″ parts to the bottom of the top folding A2 card.

Christmas is coming!

Well, eventually.  It’s still a few months away, but will be here before we know it! So our 2018 Holiday catalog goes LIVE on September 5, 2018 allowing you to get started soon on your holiday projects.  One of the first things that caught my attention in this new catalog was the Frosted Floral Specialty DSP. It has beautiful watercolor images as patterns and has a pearlized finish that just shines!

Christmas cards have begun!

It may seem early to some, but it takes time to make cards when you send over 100 of them! Plus I need some to sell at my fall events 🙂 While the new Holiday catalog will be out in September, don’t forget about the great products in the annual catalog.  I just LOVE the Night in Bethlehem stamp set and coordinating dies! Here are just 2 cards I have recently made with these products.
