The wrapping is as pretty as the present!

I needed to wrap a present this weekend so, of course, I decided to head to my craft area to see what I could create.  I needed a small container and last week I saw a YouTube video from Wunsapona Time about a bag in a box that looked about the right size.  So I found some pretty pattern paper and got started.  This is the final result:

birthday gift wrappingIsn’t it cute?  The base is 4″ x 4″ and is about 8″ tall so it’s not tiny,  but not very big, either.  I used the following Stampin’ Up! supplies:

122367 Paisley Petals designer series paper (love this paper!)

119864 round tab punch

119859 extra-large oval punch

119854 1-3/4″ scallop circle punch (to make the flower)

115954 two tags die

108362 crop-a-dile

118402 scallop trim border punch

119685 cherry cobbler card stock

119669 cherry cobbler classic ink pad

119794 peach parfait card stock

119783 peach parfait classic ink pad

104294 sticky strip

104430 Stampin’ dimensionals

Well Scripted stamp set (sorry, it’s retired, but any greetings set could work)

white organdy ribbon on hand (non-SU)

I do not yet know how to create or publish video tutorials for you.  But if you want to know how to make this cute package, leave a comment and I’ll try to put together a picture tutorial for you all.  Or better yet, if you live in the San Antonio area, schedule a workshop where you can see it created in person and ask questions during the process!

I have a few more completed projects that I hope to post in the next few days, so be sure to return for more.

*New to the 2011-2012 Idea Book & Catalog!

When you purchase kit, there are NO STRINGS ATTACHED. However, if you decide to embark on the wonderful opportunity that you can choose to take along with it, Stampin’ Up! needs ALL KINDS of Demonstrators! What kind would you consider being?

  • FRIENDS & FAMILY DEMONSTRATOR:  You just want to buy all your stamping and scrapbooking supplies at a great discount and help your “friends & family” get their supplies too!  Also want access to great “demonstrator only” websites and monthly idea magazine–always tons of ideas at your fingertips! No pressure to sell to others, attend events, or communicate with anyone – you just simply order when you want to.
  • GIVE IT A TRY DEMONSTRATOR:  You join Stampin’ Up! to see what it is all about – with no long-term commitment or plan.  You purchase the kit (which is a great deal all by itself,) have a couple of workshops or classes, just to see if you might like it.  If you find it’s not for you–you can become a “discount purchaser” or just say “good bye!”
  • HOBBY DEMONSTRATOR:  You like the idea if doing workshops and earning extra money, but only when it’s convenient for you.  You might work a lot some months and very little, or not at all, during other months. You love to stamp and/or scrapbook and like to support your own “hobby” so that you can buy everything that you want with the money you earn!
  • PART TIME DEMONSTRATOR:  You see the potential to do a little work and earn a little money on a consistent basis.  You want no pressure to ever do more than you want, but you want help and support from a “upline” who truly cares about you and your goals.  You may have specific goals in mind–pay for preschool, college tuition, car payment, new furniture, etc…
  • CAREER DEMONSTRATOR:  You recognize the potential of being a Stampin’ Up! demonstrator and want to build a business with long-term career goals.  You want to pursue management and want to move up the career ladder. You love attending Stampin’ Up! events and building relationships with other demonstrators and customers. You intend to work at your business in a consistent and outgoing manner.
When I joined 10 years ago, it was during what I thought was a terrific deal (and it was!).  So many stamping supplies at such a great price.  But this special is UNBELIEVABLE!  If you have EVER considered becoming a demonstrator or if you have dropped and would like to give it another try, now is the very best time!  To join my team, just click on the shop button to the right to go to my Stampin’ Up! site, then follow the join links.  You’ll find even more information at that site, but if you have any questions at all, just let me know and I will be happy to answer them!

Let’s get this party started!

Well, I’ve finally decided to join the masses and start my own blog! I hope you find this blog inspirational for your stamping needs. I plan to post projects, products reviews and the occasional family happenings. If at any time you have any questions, please just let me know and I will do my best to answer them. As I am just starting this, please bear with me as I get everything all set up.
