MIA and Sale-a-bration is coming to an end :(

I am so sorry I have been “out” for quite some time.  I’ve been working on the yearbook for my children’s elementary school, without much assistance.  But I wanted to remind you all the Sale-a-bration is ending on March 31, 2012!  Please don’t let this opportunity pass you by – take advantage of receiving FREE product  with every  $50 order!  Click on the image to view the FREE items in this Sale-a-bration catalog:

And you still have a little time to schedule a workshop.  Now is definitely the time as Hostesses receive even more benefits from the Main Catalog AND the Sale-a-bration Catalog.  Have questions? – just send me an email and I’ll get back to you quickly!

And while it’s ALWAYS a good time to join my team, if you join during Sale-a-bration, you can purchase the kit for just $125 AND you will receive either a digital download or package of DSP FREE every month through 2012!  So don’t let Sale-a-bration end before taking advantage of all you can get for FREE!!!!!

Wanna know what will be on my next personal order?

It’s the new Simply Scored Diagonal Plate!  With this I will be able to make envelopes of any size as well as cool background textures.  I’m so happy to see Stampin’ Up! add to this awesome tool and hope to see many more accessories for the Simply Scored Tool in the future.  As I’ve mentioned before, there are many benefits to being a demonstrator for Stampin’ Up!  And this is just one of them – I can order this plate TODAY and customers can order beginning March 1, 2012.  So as a demo, I get to order one early and try it out before showing my customers – this little baby will be on my very next order!  I can’t wait to get it!  Order yours next week!

Yes, these are PAPER Flowers!

I made these flowers for my daughter’s teacher who lost her father recently.  These will last forever since they are paper so I hope she will think of her father and my daughter every time she looks at them.  I decorated a recycled grape jelly jar as the vase with the DSP available for FREE right now during Sale-a-bration.  The gerbera daisies were created using the Flower, Daisies #2 die (114520) and Melon Mambo (115320) card stock.  To dress up the vase a bit, I used the Labels Collection (125598) Framelits Dies and Pool Party (122924) card stock that was then embossed with the Perfect Polka Dots (117335) embossing folder for added texture.  The cross is stamped from the Crosses of Hope set (117136 wood, 120567 clear) in Melon Mambo ink to coordinate with the flowers then punched using the Extra-Large Oval (119859) punch and attached to the Pool Party label. The stems of the flowers are made from Old Olive (100702) card stock.  The ribbon tied at the top of the vase is Old Olive 1-1/4″ Striped Grosgrain Ribbon (now retired).  The center of the flowers was created using retired flower punch and Early Expresso (119686) card stock.  So once again, I must stress that if you see something you like, don’t wait too late for it to retire!  I love this little flower punch and my gerbera daisies just wouldn’t be the same without these cute centers!  If you live in the San Antonio are and would like to learn exactly how to make these beautiful flowers, contact me to schedule a workshop!

Digital scrapbooking is where it’s at!

If you know me at all, you know I LOVE to create my digital scrapbooks.  I love scrapbooks in general, but my perfectionism often keeps me from finishing any paper pages.  I always think I should crop my pictures differently and I don’t like my handwriting for my journaling.  So I have a hard time gluing anything down.  That’s not a good way to finish a scrapbook.  But when I can create my pages on my computer, I can make all the changes I want by cropping my pictures in different ways and adding my words with adorable fonts until I’m happy  and then send it to the printer.  I can see things in several different ways and choose which look I like best Sealed.

If you have ever wanted to give the digital world a try, now is the time.  You can now download Stampin’ Up!’s My Digital Studio Express program for FREE!  Just add the free My Digital Studio Express trial (item 129600) to your online shopping cart, and then download and install it from your Download Manager. (Demonstrators, order it on a Demo order).  You will have the option to purchase either the 2 disc My digital Studio program or the Express download version at the end of the 30 days if you wish to continue to use the program.

If you do like using the program, I totally recommend purchasing the full version after your trial period as it’s the one I personally own and use.  Keep in mind that you can use other digital  kits, in addition to the ones you can purchase from Stampin’ Up! so you are not limited to Stampin’ Up! content.  If you attend one of my workshops, you will hear my tips on finding FREE digital content.

I cannot recommend strongly enough that you to give this a try.  In my opinion, this really is the best way to scrapbook!  If you have any questions about entering the digital world, just contact me.  I would LOVE to share my love of digital scrapbooking with you!  It’s fun and the results are cherished by all who view the books.  So why not give it a try today – you have nothing to lose and so many memories to document!

And what happens if you decide you don’t want to continue to be a demo?  Nothing, really.  You just drop from being active and lose your demonstrator benefits.  To remain active, you only need to sell or purchase $300 worth of merchandise during each quarter.  And if you remain active, you receive so many perks!  For example, demos will have the ability to pre-order a new product in February.  So if you sign up now, you will be able to receive this item before any one of your friends!  And each time we have new catalogs or new items, as a demo, we get to see them first!  Plus we get our discount, a monthly magazine to help our businesses and so much more.  If you have any questions about becoming a demo, please contact me.  And if you’ve been on the fence about becoming a demo, don’t let this awesome opportunity pass you by!  Another special will come along some day, but this one is as good as they get!  You can join online by clicking on the order button at the top right, go to my online store, then follow the “join” tabs and buttons.  You will find lots of other important info there as well about being a demonstrator.
