Sometimes I just LOVE Pinterest!

I admit I spend way too much time on Pinterest some days, but I’m so happy I was there today because I found the coolest video there (and I may not have found it otherwise).  Anyway, it was this video from Stampin’ Up! about MDS:

Now, I’ve seen many videos about MDS so I could learn how to use it (LOVE it BTW! and highly recommend it to anyone  new to digital projects!), but this one really caught my attention.  Having the states as punches is just so COOL Cool!  Immediately after watching this video, I just had to purchase the Nifty Fifty digital kit!  I can just imagine the fun pages I can now create about the trips we have taken, or will take, with the family. Or projects the kids can make for school!  The gears are really turning with how to use this kit.  If you haven’t heard of MDS before and have any questions, please just ask away.  It’s an awesome tool for all of your digital needs!!!

I’m so excited!

The new Stampin’ Up! trimmer that is shown in the 2012-2013 Annual Catalog is finally almost available!  One of the perks of being a demonstrator is my ability to order one this month, but the trimmer will be available for you to order in November!  Watch this video and you’ll see why I’m so excited about this:

I’ve owned several different trimmers over the years from different manufacturers and have always been a bit disappointed.  Based on this video, it looks like this trimmer will be totally awesome!  I should know more next week, once it arrives and I can play with it so check back next week for my assessment of this particular trimmerLaughing.

If you have ever considered becoming a demonstrator, the ability to order this product before it is available to customers is just one of the MANY perks you could take advantage of if you sign up now.  Just head over to my online store and follow the “join the fun” tab to learn more.

I’m so excited!!!

Customer thank you card

This was my thank you card for my September customers:

I used thank you images from various stamp sets in my collection with the current In Color inks.  My Stamp-a-ma-jig really came in handy!  I created a mask with a framelit from the framelits labels collection to create a faux layer.  I then used the piercing template to create the faux stitching on this faux layer, adding the stitching with my espresso marker.  It was a bit time consuming, but my customers are SO worth it!
