I have AWESOME news!

I started doing the happy dance as soon as I read this news about the new color markers!

For a limited time, from June 26 until October 31, you can buy any of the new colors in the pack or on their own!

I was a bit disappointed when I found out last year that we could only purchase markers in sets rather than individually as in the past.  So when we had the color refresh this year, I was really sad and had accepted that I just would not get the markers for the  new colors.  Until NOW!

Now I can order just the markers I need to complete my collection!  I am SO excited, can you tell?

So here is what you can order during this limited time:

Stampin’ Write Marker New Color Kit

Bermuda Bay, Blushing Bride, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Island Indigo, Pear Pizzazz, Pool Party, Smoky Slate, Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder

130034 – $28.95

Bermuda Bay Stampin’ Write Marker – 131899 –  $3.50

Blushing Bride Stampin’ Write Marker – 131265 – $3.50

Calypso Coral Stampin’ Write Marker – 131902 – $3.50

Crushed Curry Stampin’ Write Marker – 131901 – $3.50

Island Indigo Stampin’ Write Marker – 131905 – $3.50

Pear Pizzazz Stampin’ Write Marker – 131266 – $3.50

Pool Party Stampin’ Write Marker – 131904 – $3.50

Smoky Slate Stampin’ Write Marker – 131898 – $3.50

Soft Sky Stampin’ Write Marker – 131900 – $3.50

Wisteria Wonder Stampin’ Write Marker – 131903 – $3.50

So be sure to take advantage of this limited time offer and complete your marker collection!

This is SO much easier on my wallet than purchasing the entire marker collection at one time or even purchasing the individual color collections.  I am still just so excited about this news!  I said it was AWESOME, didn’t I?

Tuesday Tools – Simply Scored Scoring Tool

simply scored

One of my most used tools in my craft room in the Simply Scored Scoring tool.  I use it to create special folding cards, unique backgrounds, and 3-D projects like custom boxes.  While I can certainly use the scoring blade in the personal trimmer for simple scores to make cards, this scoring board is quite handy for producing more ornate projects.  The markers at the top are not found on any other scoring board on the market and help me tremendously when mass producing any project with multiple score lines.  And I really appreciate the special slot to store the stylus so I always know where it isSmile.

The additional diagonal plate is so helpful in creating customs envelopes for unique cards.  Watch the following video to see this board in action:

The latest addition to the Simply Scored line of products is the borders scoring plate:

With this plate, you can add numerous decorative scores to your projects.   Why not decorate you envelop flaps while you’re at it?  So easy to add this elegant touch!

I highly recommend adding the Simply Scored Scoring Tool to your collection of crafting tools!  Let these tools do the work for you and really WOW the people who will receive your creations.

Tuesday Tools – Stamp-A-Ma-Jig

One of the tools I’ve been using quite frequently lately has been my Stamp-a-ma-jig.
stamp-a-ma-jig

Over the years, I’ve tried very hard to not be precise in my stamping and I still recommend that you not get caught up in being so precise!  You should have fun while stamping!

But there are times when you need precise location of an image, especially with sentiments.  For such precise placement, the Stamp-a-ma-jig is invaluable.

You simply stamp your image on the imaging sheet by placing the block in the corner of the handle.  Then place the imaging sheet on your project with the image exactly where you want it,  bring back the handle, remove the imaging sheet and stamp your image with the block in the corner of the handle just like you did when stamping onto the imaging sheet the first time.

You can get additional imaging sheets but here’s another tip for this tool – I stamp my sentiments using the stamp-a-ma-jig onto sheets of vellum cardstock that I then keep in the case with my wood mount stamps.  That way I can skip that step when creating my projects.  For clear mount stamps, it is best to use the imaging sheets as your stamp will be mounted in a slightly different location on your clear block each time.

If you would like me to provide a video showing exactly how to use this handy tool, just let me know in the comments.
