What do we do at a workshop!?!

I often say, if you like what you see, contact me to schedule a workshop.  So several people have asked me, “what exactly do you do at a workshop?”

Each month, I create 3 different projects to make at my workshops.  I try to have 2 cards and 1 non-card project each month.  I prepare kits for the number of guests my host hopes to have attend.  I demonstrate how to make those 3 projects and then the guests have an opportunity to make the projects with their kits.  Here is an example of what we are doing for this month, February:

The first card may look a bit familiar.  It was such a popular card for January that I have provided it in my February workshops as well. And it may return for future workshops, too, since it is such an easy and beautiful card that can be for any occasion depending on the chosen sentiment.  The Hello card uses the Sale-a-bration set “Hello” that is only available until Feb. 15, 2016. The party favor using the cutie pie thinlit has been extremely popular as well so it may make an appearance in future months, too.  Those Botanical Builder Framelits are just so beautiful!  In the kits, also pictured, are all of the pieces already cut, ready to assemble.  All the guests need to do is stamp and assemble!

So, again, if you like what you see, contact me to schedule a workshop 🙂

2016 Christmas Challenge

I know Christmas is over for now, but it will come again next year.  Every year I tell myself to make 10 Christmas cards every month so when November comes, I would already have a stack of cards ready to mail.  Starting in September, my schedule is so incredibly hectic, I never seem to find time to make my cards.  So making them throughout the year, when things aren’t quite to hectic, seems to be a great idea.  So . . . . to help me keep to this idea, I am challenging you all to do the same! If I vow to post one Christmas card per month here, as well as a Christmas tag, maybe I will keep to my own challenge 🙂 Who’s with me ?signature2

You MUST HAVE this bundle!

When the new Occasions catalog goes live on January 5, 2016, you MUST HAVE this rose bundle!

Make this card in less than 10 minutes!  Make several to have on hand.  Change the sentiment to anything you need. It’s a simple but elegant card :).

Would you like to make this card? If you live in the San Antonio area, schedule a workshop with me in January and you AND your guests will make this card! Choose from many sentiments I will have on hand. You may want to add a bit more glue than I did on this card, but even though the rose is lifting up in some parts, it is still a gorgeous card!signature2

Cuteness overload!

Unfortunately, I often think my projects are a bit embarrassing to show, but sometimes I just have to smile.  Like with this card,

I collect bears so just had to have this panda bear stamp set from Mama Elephant! Put this bear with some birthday balloons and you have a card that will surely put a smile on the birthday girl’s face, right? I sure hope so!signature2
