Since it’s the last day to order from the Holiday Mini, I thought I’d better share with you one of my Christmas cards using some items from it. If you like anything you see, order today!
The card base is Bravo Burgandy (105123) with the main layer in Glossy White (102599), embossed with the Stripes (123128) embossing folder, leaving a section at the top for the sentiment stamped from Four the Holidays (116921) in Bravo Burgandy. Using the Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border punch (119275) and Bravo Burgandy cardstock, I made the cute little ribbon accent at the top of the embossed portion of the glossy cardstock. I stamped the stocking from Stitched Stockings (123782 -wood, 123784 – clear) with Bravo Burgandy ink (105214) and the trim pieces from the same set in Wild Wasabi ink (109014). The stocking and trim pieces were then punched using the Stocking Builder Punch (124095) and assembled. Remember, this punch will NOT be available in the future so be sure to order one TODAY!!!! The stocking is then mounted with Dimensionals (104430) onto a piece of glossy cardstock embossed with the oval frame from the Designer Frames (123130) embossing folders and cut out. I added a bit of bling with a Basic Rhinestone (119246) jewel on the stocking. If you are wondering how I wrote on the inside of this dark colored card, I added a piece of white paper stamped with the sentiment . Any yes, I made several of these cards in no time at all using my mass production tips from an earlier post!
